Alberta Association of Library Technicians (AALT) is dedicated to fostering and enhancing the professional image of Library Technicians. AALT was formed in 1974 to help promote a wider understanding and acceptance of the Library Technician's status in Alberta and to assist in the implementation of recognized provincial education standards.

NEWS Feb 2013: The Marketing Committee is looking into a redesign of the current AALT logo and we are looking for ideas. With a new website and future online store in the process, a new logo would be a fresh new look to go along with both.
